僕はアメリカのフロリダ出身です。英語講師として来日し、
2009年から、九州を中心にタレント・レポーター・モデルとして
活動しています。
I’m originally from Florida, but came over to Japan as an English teacher in 2006. Since 2009, I’ve been working as a model, reporter, and TV personality in Kyuushuu.
ユリは佐賀県唐津出身。
２０歳の頃から、販売や接客でお金を貯めながら、
世界の美しい所を見に行くことが趣味です。
Yuri’s from Karatsu in Saga Prefecture.
From the age of 20, she’s been working in sales and service, saving her money, and traveling.
私達は2007年、日本で出会い、2010年に結婚。
We met in Japan in 2007, and were married in 2010.
旅行、アウトドア、料理が大好きな２人の間に、世界一周のハネムーンの夢が生まれました。
We both love traveling, the outdoors, and food, so we set our sights on a Round the World Honeymoon.
節約と貯金を頑張って、2012年4月に出発予定！
Right now, we’re saving up our money and planning to take off in April of 2012.
料理人として仕事をしている僕は、色んな国の料理の勉強をして、
新しいレシピを見つけ、ブログで紹介する事を楽しみにしています。
My work is often cooking related, so I’m looking forward to learning about the cuisine of many different countries, finding new recipes, and introducing them on this site.

Sorry to reply here, I didnt know where else to place it. I will moving to Japan with my husband within a few weeks time. After looking at your website I see that you are fluent in Japanese and wonder what were your methods of learning and remembering the kanji? I read that people use the heisig method but that only im not really sure if thats a good way forward to learning the kanji way. I be most grateful if you could tell me your methods/ways of learning the Japanese language
Hi,
When I first moved here, I got some textbooks geared towards the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test), and I studied out of those. I used Kanji drill books like elementary school kids here use (they’re very easy to get) and used flash cards (PC flash cards through programs like Anki,) and homemade ones. When you’re living here though, and you see them everywhere you go, it’ll be easier to remember. Thanks for checking out the site! Hope you can use it to study some!
